*Course Comparison
PADI teaches the dive tables online, SDI does not. SDI requires the use of a dive computer during training and after certification. You can however take a class with one of our instructors and learn the dive tables ($25.00). PADI requires an 18 question exam to be administered by the an instructor prior to the water training, SDI does not.
Step 2: Schedule Your Pool & Open Water Dives

Once you have completed your on line academics, call (800) 771-DIVE and prepare to submerge!
The next step is to develop the necessary skills in a confined water environment scuba dive safely. The instructor will explain and demonstrate different techniques and then allow you to practice them until you are comfortable. You will also learn equipment set up and how to care for your gear. Once you have mastered all the skills it's time to head to the ocean!

Now the Real Fun begins!
It's time to try out your new adventure activity in the ocean. Our instructor will review proper boat diving procedures, dive profiles and the skills to be performed during the dives. Once the skills portion of each dive is completedted you will be given a tour to just enjoy the scenery.
