Dive the Quallman Barge  - A South Florida Wreck Dive Site

Location:   Deerfield Beach

Description:   The Barge is 100' long and 32' wide. The stern of the barge is close to the 3rd reef and pointing SE. The barge is upright. In addition to the reef fish on the wreck, around the wreckage you'll see Hogfish and Amberjacks. Experienced navigators can follow a wreck trek from the Ancient Mariner to the Berry Patch and end on the Merritt Barge. You need a south current of course.

History:   This barge was sunk by the Broward County Artificial Reef Program on July 1, 2000.
