Rags Reef
Location: Boynton Beach (outer reef)
Description: "Rags Reef" is an artificial reef constructed of tons of limestone boulders in July of 2006 as a memorial to Ginger Catanzaro who died in April of 2003. An additional 828 tons of boulders were added by Rags Reef Foundation in August of 2009 as part of phase 2. After being down for over 13 years this has become great marine habitat. Good for lobstering in season.
