Location:  Pompano Beach (outer reef)

Description:   Lost ledge is a section of the outer reef running parallel to the shoreline just south of Hillsboro Inlet. This reef has a series of east, west facing ledges with rock mounds thrown in for confusion. A very extensive reef area. Can be navigationally challenging, hence the name. However wherever you are on the reef you will be happy. A favorite reef of lobster divers, especially on rough days.

Navigation:  For a north current you can pretty much start anywhere towards the south end. For a south current the best spot to start is the north hook. The outer reef is very wide here so there is an advantage to using a zig zag pattern along with the current.
