Location:  Fort Lauderdale (ridge complex)

Description:   Named Oakland Ridges because of the proximity to Oakland Park boulevard. This ridge has eastern facing ledge and is part of Broward's Mooring Buoy Program. The broken ledges and table top rocks make excellent hiding places for juvenile fish. Fun place to dive or snorkel. The ridge runs north and south parallel to the shoreline.

Navigation:  Best dive is along the eastern ledge following the line of buoys, It's interesting to venture west to some of the ledges and crevices.
