Black Condo Reef
Location: Boynton Beach (outer reef)
Description: Black Condo Reef is scientifically named (LOL) after the condo in shore of the reef line. In the old days before GPS, many reefs were named after the land marks that were used to find them. The highest concentration of marine life is on the western facing ledge. West of the main ledge is rubble rather than sand making it a good spot to look for lobster. Occasionally a Hammerhead shark has been sited here. If you venture to the eastern side of the reef you may find some pillar coral.
Navigation: Start out on either the north or south drop depending on the current and drift with the current along the main ledge, were the highest concentration of marine life is. If you are looking for lobster swim west of the main ledge slightly and drift along the rubble.
