Description: Budweiser Bar is 169 feet long and 27.9 feet wide and is still sitting partially upright in 95 feet pointing to the south. The stern section has been detached from the main body and is sitting northeast from original position. Having been sunk 35 years ago the wreckage is covered with colorful sponges and fish. There are several penetration options with large hatch openings. Other points of interest include the propeller, engine room, crew quarters and galley which can still be recognized. The Bud Bar and Captain Tony aka "Becks"are connected by a series of rubble piles that run from the Budweiser Bar’s stern to the bow of the Captain Tony. The swim from one to the other takes 7 to 10 minutes to complete.

History: Built in Germany in 1968 the Bud Bar was originally christened as the M/S Havel. In 1977 the ship sold to the Bahamian company Miami Caicos Shipping and renamed the Olive M. The coastal freighter transported dry goods throughout the Caribbean, Bahamas and Florida. Eventually the ship was given to the Boynton Beach Dive Operators Association and Palm Beach County to become an artificial reef. One of the major sponsors for the ships cleaning and sinking was Anheuser-Busch, the makers of Budweiser Beer. The Bud Bar was finally scuttled July 16, 1987.
