Gulfstream Ledge
Location: Boynton Beach (outer reef)
Description: Gulfstrem Ledge is very popular offering extensive reef system and big animal encounters. The south end has two popular drop spots called "Clubhouse" and "Grouper Hole". If you venture to the east the "spur & groove" feature is very prominent. Farther to the east is a ridge known as I-95, usually the current is stronger and you can cover a lot of ground unlike I-95 the highway that moves at a snail's pace! Also aptly name for it's depth 95 ft.
Navigation: Depending on your objective if you want to dive the main ledge, for a north current drop in on Clubhouse and for south current drop south of Briny Breezes. If you want to do the "Grouper Hole" drop on the eastern side across from "Clubhouse" and drift north.
