Delray Ledges
Location: Delray Beach (outer reef)
Description: Delray Ledges is thought by most locals as one of the best reefs on the east coast. The ledges are more prominent and being in between 2 inlets it gets less pressure. The reef is covered with soft corals and marine life. Sharks are often seen here. The north end is very good for lobster. Sometimes schools of Snook can be seen on the eastern side of the main ledge.
Navigation: Navigating Delray ledge is easy to navigate do to the height of the ledges and the hook in on each end of the reef. Follow the ledge north or south depending on the current. Take you time you never know what will show up.
